With all the planning resources in the world, there will always be an element of every project which throws up some surprises. The Coach House in Ash is a recent project which certainly had us testing our problem-solving skills! We began by demolishing the existing property on site and then worked with our client’s architect to plan the construction of a stunning new 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home.
The water table for the site was just under 450mm below ground level, which increased the complexity for laying foundations. Our solution was to dig a drainage pit to pump out water, allowing the build to proceed.
Further in to the build, we were asked to take over the project management of the construction. Our team quickly moved into place to ensure there were minimum time delays to the schedule and all outstanding issues were swiftly addressed and managed so the project could progress.
Throughout all situations like this, we understand that our clients value reassurance from us about every aspect of their project and communication is key. From overcoming onsite issues to reporting back implications to your budget, timely and accurate communication is a central part of our service.
The result is a fantastic luxury home our clients are thrilled with. The sleek clean lines of the SieMatic kitchen, the feature window in the master bedroom, bifold doors in the living room and bright modern bathrooms all play a part in adding to the beautiful features of this unique home.
